The Shorehouse list is much like the restaurant that it calls home: it is large, yet never feels empty; extremely diverse, yet always inclusive; forever priding itself on being uniquely West Australian.
We wrote this list for the nervous person waiting for their date to arrive scrambling to understand the difference between Crémant and Prosecco; the solo traveller enjoying a glass of Great Southern riesling whilst learning about the wares of Madeira; or the corporate worker determining which Barolo producer is going to impress the boss at the end of year luncheon.
There are many hands that diligently labour to make a document such as this a reality, just as there are many hands that touch every bottle that makes its way to find a home on our list. We are thankful to all of those who spend their lives growing grapes, making wine and finding labels to bring to us. It is your devotion to wine that we try to honour in these pages.
We’re an uncomplicated bunch; yet wine, whilst just fermented grape juice, can be a tormentingly complicated subject. Talk with us about our wine, we love it all.
The Beverage Team.
